Minister:
We are here today to witness the marriage of Groom’s Name and Bride’s Name and to celebrate their future together.
Vows:
Minister: Groom’s Name and Bride’s Name, having come of your own free will, please state your intent to enter into this union by expressing your vows to one another.
Groom’s Name, please repeat after me:
"I promise, Bride’s Name, in the presence of our closest family
to support and motivate you in times of challenge
to offer you ingenuity and resource in times of adversity
to savor and delight in our happiness and good fortune
to make you laugh uncontrollably
to respect you, even in our disagreements
to cherish each day we have together
and to love and adore you for all time
Bride’s Name, repeat after me:
"I promise, Groom’s Name, before family and friends
to support and motivate you in times of challenge
to offer you ingenuity and resource in times of adversity
to savor and delight in our happiness and good fortune
to make you laugh uncontrollably
to respect you, even in our disagreements
to cherish each day we have together
and to love and adore you for all time
Minister: Will all of you witnessing these vows do everything in your power to uphold Bride’s Name and Groom’s Name in their marriage?
Family/friends: "We Will."
Rings
Minister:
The wedding ring is a symbol of unity, a circle unbroken, without beginning or end. Today Bride’s Name and Groom’s Name give and receive these rings, to demonstrate how two lives have coalesced and created a love that is whole, unbroken, and without end.
Bride’s Name, please place the ring on Groom’s Name's finger and repeat after me:
"I give you this ring
as a sign of our perpetual faith
and everlasting love."
Groom’s Name, please place the ring on Bride’s Name’s finger and repeat after me:
"I give you this ring
as a sign of our perpetual faith
and everlasting love."
Pronouncement of Marriage
Minister: "In your presence as witnesses, Bride’s Name and Groom’s Name have made their solemn vows to each other and confirmed those promises through the giving and receiving of rings. I now proclaim them husband and wife.
Groom’s Name, you may kiss the bride.
