Gay marriage has been approved in the New York State Senate by a vote of 33 to 29.It is good to know we can move past commitment services to legally recognized marriages.
Gov. Cuomo is expected to sign the bill into law tonight, making New York the sixth state, and by far the largest, where gay marriage is legal, marking what advocates see it as a turning point in the national gay rights movement.
